After reading Tony Gouldings so called article about the customers of the William Morris I have unusually decided to write and say how awful I thought it was, what an insult to the regulars that go to the William Morris, not because we can’t afford to go anywhere else or because we are to old but because it is our local, its convenient and there is a good range of all ages,
    Tonys article does not reflect the true William Morris.

  2. As editor of the OD I can offer to publish your comments in the next edition, and we will take another look at the pub. Tony’s comments are a generalisation and he does say positive things about the pub, so I didn’t consider what he wrote to be offensive.
